Every pour begins with detailed planning: site access review, staging and outrigger pad requirements, overhead clearance checks, utility lookouts, and confirmation of forms, reinforcement, and embed placement. We coordinate mix specifications for pumpability, including appropriate slump, admixtures, and aggregate size.
Safety is built into our workflow. Certified operators conduct pre-operation inspections, establish exclusion zones, use spotters for boom movement, and follow ACPA/OSHA best practices. Clear hand signals and radio communication keep the pump, placing crew, and ready-mix trucks in sync throughout the pour.
During pumping, we prime the system correctly, maintain continuous flow to prevent segregation, monitor line pressure, and control hose handling to mitigate whipping. After placement, we perform a contained washout and site cleanup plan that protects landscaping, hardscape, and storm drains.
